Wedding Events 101
As we all know when planning a function or a wedding there are lists within lists to do and sometimes never enough time to complete them. So here are a few tips
- Be honest about your budget with your wedding decorator. Having your concept unachievable because of money can be disappointing. Your decorator is there to create flair within your budget.
- Make a folder. Cut out pictures, take photos of ideas and settings that you would like to use for your wedding. Like scrapbooking.
- Once you have chosen a wedding decorator and decided on the Theme, centrepieces, chair covers ask for a preview of the display.
- Bring a friend. When looking at the wedding details take someone who will be interested and honest. Fiancés tend to turn into a “Yes” person, which doesn’t help.
- Find out if your wedding venue will allow your wedding decorator to come in and set up and take down. You don’t want overtime fees for room hire from your wedding venue.
Wedding /Reception Planner
When Planning for your event, remember to make a reception planner, so that everyone is on the same page, such as the function coordinator, the DJ, the caterer. They are very handy to have! It means you can relax for your event.
